Activities The Cape Winelands are beautiful. Activities? Your choice!
Stellenbosch and Franschoek are famous for their high-quality wine throughout the world. The many charming Cape Wineland estates each have their unique characteristic and attract thousands of tourists. Wine is in the DNA of our region and of course a visit and tasting a “must-do”. Good wine, good food, good life. World-class cuisine with restaurants of all kinds complement the culinary experience.
"Drinking good wine with good food in good company is one of life's most civilized pleasures" - Michael Broadbent
However, Stellenbosch has a lot more to offer. Due to its favorable climate, the proximity to different mountain ranges and national parks, Stellenbosch is a Mekka for outdoor and adventure fans, making it an excellent home base to explore the Western Cape.
During your stay with us, we will be more than happy to assist you in whatever you would like to explore or do: Are you rather an active person and would like to jump on a bike? Not a problem, mountain bikes can be rented directly at Cultivar Guest Lodge (subject to availability). Or are you into hiking or trail running? Stellenbosch is close to the Hottentot Holland Mountains and the Jonkershoek Nature Reserve where you can enjoy wonderful rides, walks, hikes and runs.
Our team can advise which activities are feasible, depending on the season and availability. Have a look here and let yourself be inspired of what you would like to do while staying with us! You have your own plans? We are happy to assist you. Note that all arrangements with our partners and transfer are on request.
